POR QUE O PEIXE É SIMBOLO DO CRISTIANISMO?   

Durante as duas perseguições sofridas pelos cristãos primitivos, o peixe tornou-se um simbolo do cristianismo porque tomando as letras iniciais da frase:

"LESOUS CHRISTOS THEOU UIOS SOTER" 

Que significa JESUS CRISTO DE DEUS FILHO SALVADOR, temos as palavras iniciais "ICHTHUS", que é peixe no grego.
