MEIO EVANGÉLICO > Diácono para servir e atender a Denominação que lhe deu o cargo:

- "Servir" Ceia na Igreja e nas casas dos doentes e enfermos;

- Limpar e ou vigiar banheiros, piso ou patio da Igreja;

- Atuar como porteiro;

- Guardador de carros ou vigia de estacionamento;

- Segurança de pastor, porta do gabinete pastoral, em torno da Igreja, entre outros;

- Colocar e trocar água do púlpito da Igreja;

- Atuar como garçom nos eventos da Denominação;

- Preparar a igreja para os cultos, fraternais, campanhas, seminários, conferências e convenções;

- E outras tantas atividades criadas à gosto do seu pastor.

NA BÍBLIA > 7 homens para atender na distribuição diária de alimentos às viúvas dos judeus helenistas (gregos) - Atos 6.1-7:

1. Ora, naqueles dias, multiplicando-se o número de discípulos, houve uma queixa entre eles. Os judeus helenistas protestaram contra os judeus de fala hebraico-aramaica, porque suas viúvas não estavam sendo atendidas na distribuição diária de alimentos.

2. Então, os Doze reuniram todos os discípulos e propuseram: “Não é sensato negligenciarmos o ministério da Palavra de Deus, a fim de servir às mesas.

3. Portanto, irmãos, escolhei dentre vós Sete homens de bom testemunho, cheios do Espírito e de sabedoria, aos quais encarregaremos deste ministério.

4. Quanto a nós, nos devotaremos à oração e ao ministério da Palavra.

5. Tal proposta agradou a todos. Então, escolheram Estevão, homem cheio de fé e do Espírito Santo, além de Filipe, Prócoro, Nicanor, Timom, Pármenas e Nicolau, um convertido ao judaísmo, proveniente de Antioquia.

6. Apresentaram-nos diante dos apóstolos, os quais oraram e lhes impuseram as mãos.

7. E a Palavra de Deus era divulgada, de modo que se multiplicava grandemente o número dos discípulos em Jerusalém; inclusive, muitos sacerdotes obedeciam a fé.
